The cover and release date for the 12th volume of Yoshiyuki Sadamoto’s Neon Genesis Evangelion manga has just been recently announced. This volume continues its adaptation of the End of Evangelion film and is set to be released on April 3rd in Japan. Hopefully Viz’s english version release won’t be far behind.

Has the english version of Vol 12 been released? Is this the last book of the series?
A thirteenth volume is currently being worked on by Sadamoto, which could be the last whenever it finally gets released. As for the english edition of volume 12, Viz holds the copyright on it and a release date still hasn’t been set.
Oh yay! ^^ Finally. They’ve made enough spin-offs, bout time they finish the main version :). Yay.
