The Daily Telegraph in England just reported that sales of bow ties have surged by 94% since ‘The Eleventh Hour’ was broadcast early last month. This is a staggering increase from the barely 27 people across the country who were purchasing bow ties in the 75 years prior to the broadcast of Matt Smith’s first episode of the series. I joke. But really though, the sales of bow ties in England have really increased by 94%. Apparently the Doctor was right, bow ties are ‘cool’. Now that he’s made them cool.
