Hiromu Arakawa’s New Manga Silver Spoon

Best known for the popular series Full Metal Alchemist, mangaka Hiromu Arakawa is beginning a brand new series on April 6th. Entitled Silver Spoon, the series will be published in Weekly Shonen Sunday and take place at a high school in Hokkaido. Sillver Spoon will also be Arakawa’s first weekly manga.

Full Metal Alchemist concluded last year and I’m glad to see Arakawa returning with another new work. Aside from the setting of the story itself all other details of the story are, for the moment, unknown.

  1. It’s been released! The manga is great. I noticed that some of the characters were exactly the same as FMA. Like the P.E. teacher who looks like Armstrong, the only change in his appearance is his hair and his attire. It is very funny and it’s story is completely brand new in the manga industry (farming story?). I recommend you readers to read it.
