Young Black Jack Trailer

Earlier this year it was announced that the Young Black Jack manga series would be receiving an anime adaptation and now the first promotional video for the show has been released by TBS. Young Black Jack is a spin-off manga of Osamu Tezuka’s original Black Jack manga series that ran from 1973-1983 and tells stories from Black Jack’s medical school days. The Young Black Jack manga is written by Yoshiaki Tabata and illustrated by Yugo Okuma. The new anime series is being animated (not surprisingly) by Tezuka Productions and will air in Japan from October 1st onwards. There is currently no word yet on whether or not the show will be made availabe to North American audiences by either Crunchyroll or Funimation.
